If you decide to move forward with a new website within 30 days of your health check, I’ll take 10% off the cost of the build.
Disclaimer: A website that’s gone a long time without maintenance can accumulate outdated, unsupported, or conflicting components — and in some cases, the underlying build may be too far gone to fully restore, regardless of the work involved.
Importantly, the check itself carries risk: even routine actions like updating a plugin or theme to its latest version can break a site that’s been left untouched for years — sometimes irreversibly, if the current setup depends on an old version to function at all. This isn’t a remote possibility; it’s a common outcome on neglected sites.
We always take a full backup before any work begins, and we’ll flag anything high-risk before we touch it. But on a badly neglected site, a backup protects your data — it doesn’t guarantee we can get the site itself back to a fully working state if something breaks during the process.
